Week 7 Fantasy Football Player Rankings and Analysis
Week seven has already kicked off with Thursday Night Football in the books, but not a whole lot of surprises came out of the week’s first game. The 49ers won and the passing attacks were weak. Those things were expected. However, two things were pretty interesting, as both Frank Gore and Marshawn Lynch topped 100 rushing yards against very tough run defenses, while stud tight end Vernon Davis laid a goose egg (zero catches).
I wisely had Alex Smith and Russell Wilson ranked outside of my top-20, as neither topped 200 yards and there was just one touchdown between the two of them. On the flip-side, I had Gore and Lynch inside my top-20, but probably not high enough (at least for Gore). But with the tough matchup on paper, I just didn’t trust them.
My only main gaffe so far this week was ranking Davis so high. I thought the 49ers would have to throw a bit to win in this game, but it was really just ugly and Davis wasn’t utilized at all.
This week I’m high on Tony Romo, Chris Johnson and Brandon Marshall. Let’s hope they do better than Vernon Davis. For more advice beyond these rankings, be sure to stop by our weekly fantasy chat (bottom right of the site) on Sunday morning from 10 am ET until the first games kickoff.

Howdy just wanted to give you a quick heads up. The text in your article seem to be running off the screen in Chrome. I’m not sure if this is a formatting issue or something to do with internet browser compatibility but I thought I’d post to let you know. The style and design look great though! Hope you get the problem resolved soon. Kudos
I was just seeking this info for a while. After 6 hours of continuous Googleing, finally I got it in your site. I wonder what is the Google’s issue that doesn’t rank this type of informative web sites closer to the top. Generally the top web sites are full of garbage.
